Our days are anything but Extraordinary

Being a stay home mama I sometimes get lost in routines, ruts and TRYING to stay busy and positive. Our days are anything but Extraordinary. And I'm ok with our simple Ordinary days thee's days ;)

3rd Nephew

Last tuesday my parent's and I cruised up to Utah to 1. see my nephew madsen and 2. for Aila and I to of course see Todd! As some of you may know that we are moving to Utah. Todd is up there working and saving. The past few weeks have been in a lot of ways very discouraging and devastating for us. We are well and safe and to relive it just causes me to dwell and I am past that point. All we can do now is pray and have faith that everything is going to work out and maybe this happened for a reason and there is a bigger and better opportunity for us. With that said, we are picking up the pieces and keeping our heads held high. Aila and I are still here in CA for a little bit longer and we miss Todd and he misses us. So when we get a chance to visit we take it! SO back to 1. My nephew Madsen Garrett McGregor is a cutie patootie! I was very excited to be there so see him and hold him! He has the sweetest most precious little whine and cry ever. This will be my third nephew and the 4th comes in June! My sister Winter is having another boy. It's raining boys and 
I LOVE it!

While we were there it was also my younger sister's birthday! Go Shea it's ya birthday, we're ganna party like it's ya birthday!....at.....CPK! haha We had a good lunch with miss busy bee and I was glad to see her before her birthday! Todd's good friend and old mission companion's wedding was happening while I was up there so we got to attend it, hangout and enjoy some yum-o food! Got to love Todd's facial expressions...

My parent's decided to break up the trip and stop at the land that my Dad purachased to build a cabin. I forget where in Utah, but it's beautiful and so peaceful there. Very small town feel and a gorgeous view of a lake. We stayed in a cute cabin at Hoover's ranch. By rock candy mountain!? Ya I have never heard of it either haha. Their resturant had the yummiest homemade scones I ever tasted and layed eyes on. H O L Y cow they were so good and with the honey butter on top....WOWZA'S! Haha! Of course after we ate we had to walk off our dinner and scope out the joint. The scenery was still dry and dead from winter, but I hear in the spring/summer/fall it is breath taking.

Easter 2013

Easter is such a special day. Now that I am older I appreciate it for what is really is. The resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. We have been watching "The Bible" on the history channel. I highly recommend it. What our savior went through was unimaginable! I am very grateful for all the sacrifices that he went through for everyone in this world. There is no greater gift. I am most certain that every store has it all backwards. Bunny's everywhere!! Now I am not sure where the easter bunny even came into the picture. It's fun and for the kids of course, nothing wrong with that. I just dislike how it consumes the whole meaning of easter. The TRUE meaning. With all that said...I am guilty and I bought Aila an easter egg basket. She even got 2 more baskets from Grandma Walker and Gammy Mcgregor! Haha. It was a great day. We went to church and had family over. Picture time is quite the hectic time, BUT it's a must! I love a good photo of family for memories. Who doesn't take photo's on holiday's anyways!?? Well if you don't than you miss out on the hilarious bloopers! Happy Easter!

Sharing Time - Spring Festives

1, 2 & 3.  My 29th birthday, new dress, necklace and pretty flowers with 2 snickers. Later followed by Olive Garden for dinner! It was a good day!

4. Bookworm in training ;) 101 dalmations disney book that I had as a small child.

5. I love taking walks and so Old Town Murrieta isn't too far and has some antique shops and misc sights to see.

6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12. A day at the Irvine Railroad with friends. Egg picture booth, her face is funny and super excited. She really was into the little pony's and cookie decorating *YUM* We had a great time enjoying the fresh O.C air and watching Aila run loose.

13. Out at Grandpa & Grandma's house. She is for sure an out doorsy kind of chick! She loves to be outside all day long. 

14, 15 & 16. Easter Sunday was a great day, we went to church and hungout with family, ate and did a easter egg hunt for the little ones. Aila got rich, she found most of the eggs with money haha.....thats ma girl!! Check out her face in pic#16..priceless!

17. Daddy playing food airplane with the little miss. She loved it...as she loves everything daddy does. He can do no wrong ;)

18. So sleepy and so ready for bedy bye time!

19. Lunch with Gammy at farmer boys. Can we say she loves ranch? Maybe just a tad! Silly girl :)

20. She loves going through my stuff...especially my wallet. She takes out ALL my cards and money. Here she even found the wipies and decided it was fun to take them all out and waste them. Not to mention I had to throw them all away of course. Not need bacteria on my baby's bum.

19 months

What a Jem!

Lately she really has matured and grown a lot, which naturally that's what babies do...they grow way to fast! It amaazes me on how big she is now. She is so lovable...like a cuddle bug in a way, and is very affectionate. Kisses galore!! Pucker up cause here she comes! I love it!

1. I am #2 of 6 children. 3 girls-3 boys!

2. When I was in 8th grade I had surgery in my mouth to remove my labial frenum. 

3. I was obsessed with No Doubt and Gavin rossdale(singer from Bush) when I was about 13ish. I would fan mail and they would send me freebies and stuff. Weird that they are now married haha.

4. I took my husband to his first metal show. (Back when we were just friends)

5. My heritage is mostly Scottish...so naturally I Cherish my maiden name.

6. I studied fashion design in college.

7. While growing up we had all kinds of animals...reptiles...you name it, at some point we had it. My favorite that comes to mind was my jesus lizard. (The basilisk)

8. I have a tattoo that I got on my golden birthday 6 years ago. Not proud cause I hate tattoos with a passion, But it is what it is. Plus you would laugh if you could try to find it, let alone see it!

This month is going to be really busy, happy, sad, exciting and my last in a lot of ways for at least a little while. I'm moving reallllly soon to Utah. Like APRIL soon!...Ahhh!
