Shea and Erik day

Saturday May 28th we had a busy busy day with two awesome things. Shea's bridal shower and opening Erik's mission call as a family later that evening! Shea's bridal shower went really good and very successful seeing that we only had so much time to plan it, but it really came all together so perfectly! Later that evening after the bridal shower we got the family together for a guessing game to go along with Erik's mission call. Each one of us guessed where we thought Erik was going...

-I guessed Colorado[no idea why, but the first thing that popped into my head, so i went with that]
-Todd: Texas
-My mom: Brazil
-Dad: Can't remember but he had like 2 guesses
-Winter: Georgia
-John: Peru
-Shea: Italy
-Brandon: Mexico
-Bree: Darnit can't remember what she picked either haha
-Grandma McGregor and Grandpa McGregor: Scotland[They were really rooting for Scotland since we are mostly Scottish and that would be really awesome]
-Garrett: Venezuela
-Jenna: Spain

I think thats everyone...seems like pretty good picks and someone is bound to get it or be somewhat close!! RIGHT!? NOOOPE! haha!

Erik opened his Mission call...It was such a great moment as was Brandon and Garrett when they opened their Missions calls. How special and memorial it really is. The start of a new life for 2 years serving the Lord and Others! Anyways so needless to say We were all wayyy off haha!! Erik is going on a Mission to Uganda Kampala South AFRICA Mission!! Wooohoo!! Who would have thought....honestly!? Well we are trilled for him and we know the Lord sent Erik there for a special reason and that he will be a great Missionary :) So proud of my little brother who is clearly not little anymore.

p.s. Erik joked before he got his mission call that he was going to Africa-Haha what are the chances!? :)

25 weeks

I am 25 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow...Oh the time is going slow I feel Though I shouldn't complain since we have so much to do to get ready for this lil bundle to arrive. So I am content haha. Aila is now 13 1/2 inches long and weighs about a pound and a half. Last night was a really good night for me, while I was trying to fall asleep normally she will move and kick a little and then dose off, but Not this time...Wow, I was laughing and trying not to wake Todd because she was a gymnast in my belly. I felt her completely! I got to really feel how big she is now and wow she was moving like crazy! I love it!! This experience is beyond words to express..all mother's could relate. We are very blessed that our heavenly father gave us this gift of carrying our children within us. It's so beautiful :)

Happy Mother's Day

I know i am carrying this amazing miracle of life right here in my belly, but I honestly didn't really think about me being included in Mother's Day until Todd told me that I was a Mother. Our baby has a gender, a name and I am carrying it and nurturing it inside me. Makes sense actually haha. I really wasn't even expecting anything from anyone, It didn't dawn on me really at all. Im so used to Mother's Day as my Moms day really haha. It was a great day with my family, Todd totally surprised me with a beautiful card and my favorite chocolate Lindt's(Love that boy) It was so sweet of him! I swear he is my whole world...He makes me so happy! I couldn't imagine living life without him right by my side. LOVE YOU TODDY!!!! :) Hehe he'll read this at some point this week and probably laugh at me for blogging this, but whatever I do wha I want! Haha jk. Anyways so My very first pre-mom day was really awesome! I felt great, ate like a hungry hungry pippo and got to be with family :)

I got this great quote at church for Mother's Day and I just loved it so I thought i'd share it!

May each of us treasure this truth: One cannot forget Mother and remember God. One cannot remember Mother and forget God. Why? Because these two sacred persons, God and Mother, partners in creation, in love, in service, are as one.
