Eve & Christmas Highlights

CHRISTMAS EVE
Christmas eve was fun and relaxing for the most part. I could not wait to get Aila's stocking ready and set up her tricycle we got her. I thought it would be pretty funny if us three got into our onesies. Sadly Todd's and mine did not fit as well as 3 years ago when we bought them. Whelp we will either have to loose some weight or buy new ones ha ha! They were from the kids section so that doesn't make me feel too bad. ;) Later on that night Todd was busy building her play kitchen Gammy McGregor got for her. Isn't it adorable!? And I love the color! {something other than pink.}

CHRISTMAS DAY
Did I mention that ALL my siblings were out here for Christmas!?...Yes! All 6 of us were together under one roof to celebrate! It was so fun! I made some yummy hot Christmas wassel. It's so good if you haven't tried it. I am definitely making it a Christmas tradition with my family for sure! It was a huge hit and is better than plain hot apple cider in my opinion. Ingredients in a nutshell- I used: Sparkling apple cider, sugar, 1 whole fresh orange, Cranberry juice, Cloves, and 2 cinnamon stix. Let me tell you...It's Delicious! The day seemed to go on and on which was awesome. We ate, played games and ate some more. Another wonderful Christmas gone by! Till next year :)

p.s: The bottom picture of the the dark chocolate covered gram cracker sprinkled with peppermint bits is AMAZING! I didn't make it, but my mother's friend dropped it by and it's from target. OMG. Heavenly! Ha ha! I'll have to DIY next year for sure!

5 days

5 days till good ol' Christmas! Crazy how right after Halloween...BAM, It was already time for Christmas. I wish there was more time to enjoy this time of year. This is one of my favorite holiday's hands down. The spirit of Christmas! I love our savior and the special feeling that comes around at this time. It's fun, emotional and loving. I love Christmas for the fact that it comes last, December. Right when your getting ready to say goodbye to the year and saying hello to a new one. It's a time to reminisce and really appreciate all that you have and to remember the good times and learn from the bad. A time to be grateful and humble. I am so proud to be a daughter of God. I know he lives and loves us all. This isn't the only time of the year to think of him, but to thank him and get closer to him. Merry Christmas to you all!

27 months old

I don't respond to people when they ask me how old Aila is by even trying to count the months. I simply say she is two! Ha ha. But she is 27 months old and growing into such a little lady these days. Lately there has been days where I have to do a double take at how grown up she has gotten. Baffles me sometimes seeing her talk more and more and doing a lot of things all by herself. She's definitely not a toddler anymore. *Tear* I took these pictures when we were on a mini vacation over thanksgiving weekend. My sister bought this cute little tree and mini ornaments so the kids could put them on the tree. It turned out to be only Aila and Crew that were small enough to keep under our thumb, making them stay where we could get a few cute shots. It was a fun weekend, but we are ready for Christmas!

Beautiful Adventures

Whenever I do my Photography sessions, i get some alone time in between. Peace and quiet. I take this time to look around and observe what is around me. One good thing about being a Photographer is you get to travel to places you wouldn't normally go on a regular basis. You discover and see things in a different light and perspective. So far my favorite place I got to shoot at was Oak Glen. Holy Moly it is so pretty up there! ;)
