Little miss is ONE

AILA turned one years old on August 20th. Such a sweety girl! We celebrated her party on August 11th with a Beach themed backyard pool party. That was right around the time where it was hades hot, seriously I am so glad I choose to do a pool party, otherwise we would have all melted...LITERALLY!! I couldn't believe how hot it was, trying to set up outside my parent's backyard at 8 a.m and sweating balls already! Insane!! But we made it work with the heat wave we were having just in time for a Beach Birthday Bash! It fit perfectly and was one heck of an interesting fun day. Planning, shopping and creating her beach party was so much fun and very inexpensive. Great ideas that I made from pinterest to really make it a super cute fun first birthday. When I was little and having a blast at my birthday party, I was already thinking of what I would do for my next birthday haha. Thats the Impatient and creative side of me. I just love the challenge of an idea, the decor and outcome of a cute, creative and fun party. We got and took a lot of photo's, these are just a few of my favy's! Enjoy!

Pioneer Day

We traveled to Julian for Pioneer day with Grandma & Grandpa Walker. While on our drive up to Julian we stopped by Dudley's bakery. Holy cow GREAT bread! I highly recommend driving all the way up to Julian just to get your hands on some fresh loafs![YUM]. Being Aila's & my first time to enjoy the festivities that go on, on this particular day that is mind you a Holiday in the state of Utah. But here in CA, I'm sure some people scratch their head and think...what is Pioneer Day!? We ventured up to Julian, to the Smith Ranch. Good food and fun activities.

OC Fair

First of all it's FREE on wednesday's if you donate 3 books, used or new! So heads up if anyone was planning to go, go wednesday! My sister Winter and I took the kiddies for the day and just walked around and browsed. I wish I got more photo's, but for some reason I didn't..lame! Anyways it was a fun activity to get out of the house and enjoy the day in the COOL OC air! It was warm, but the breeze was just perfect and cool! In the shade I got a chill....awww it felt amazing! I wasn't pissy or feeling weird, cause I cannot stand to be in hot weather with millions of people crowded around..No, well I can't stand to be in hot weather period! I don't know what it is about summer time and how my body reacts to the heat. It's really bizarre! But basically I hate summer and look forward to cooler weather ahead :)

On June 23, 2012 my sister Winter and I did a wedding in Redlands. It was my first wedding and I was excited more than nervous. Weird for me...Im such a stress mess! But It went really well and we were such a good team together. We are considering to start a Wedding Photography business as a duo in the near future.

Sunday we enjoyed some family time with our father's and Todd becoming a first time father last year when Aila was born, it is was his first father's day. He works so hard and helps out so much, he is truly an amazing Daddy and companion. 
As a Mother I am very grateful for Father's.

Out & About

Being a stay home mama has its perks, I have to get out of the house a lot before I about lose my cool. I hate where we live first of all....its too small and we have out grown it! We cannot wait to leave and find something bigger, like a home maybe or heck ANYTHING compared to where we are now! Don't get me wrong our place is really nice, but we are in need of an upgrade. And I know our time will come, and we just have to be patient. SO back to the perks of being a stay home mama are leaving for a few hours, get out of the house and roam around. I love to walk with Aila in her stroller and she loves to get out and about also. Its refreshing and a MUST when you are home everyday.Yesterday[wednesday]we went to dos logos just to browse and walk around..you know SHOP TILL WE DROP! Haaaa ohhh don't I wish we could! But no I didn't shop, I just browsed the stores and fantasied about what home decor we would choose in Z Gallerie. Love that store and I love this vase. And then there's Anthropologie....good greef!!...I want everything I see. But WHY oh why must it cost you, your soul to shop there? Coolest FREE part though is admiring their window display's! I LOVE their window display's...they[and nordstrom]have the best display's! Beyond creative and different. 

Dream job right there! 

Thankful 4 Family

Some fun recent 'Instagram' picage of our sweetie. I couldn't resist not sharing how big she is getting. She loves to stand and is really starting to make her way around just about everywhere! How time fly's, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her birth and how she came into our world. We love her so much. Being a parent is awesome and we look forward to having more children in the future. I came from a large family. 3 girls 3 boys...Aww The Brady Bunch you may be thinking. Yes I've heard that one before! Although were not at all 'really' like the Brady bunch, I still get a bit bummed when I am Jan in the whole scenario. [hehe] But having a big family has really been such a wonderful thing and being much older to appreciate the fact, I am soo grateful and lucky to have a close family that loves one another and to have siblings that are truly my best friends! I am so happy that our little Aila was born to the McGregor/Walker Clan...were some pretty awesome folks ;)

Memorial Day

I know it's been a week since But whatever's,  It's never to late to share what we did over the holiday weekend. Well we to the beach...BIG SURPRISE!! [hehe] It was actually a really nice day and we haven't been to the beach in a long time, so it was time to get our vitamin D ON! I of course got a little too much vita.D, I am still all itchy and peeling like a lizard! Thats my fault for not wearing any sun screen...WHAT WAS I THINKING!? A little to occupied with visiting and taking care of Aila, Which by the way did not like the beach at first..teething and miserable with the ocean breeze in her face was not her idea of a fun filled day out! She was no happy camper, But as the day went on she came around and was good the rest of the day. Oh Don't mind the whiteness that is our skin...were slowly working on it!
