Laguna Beach, CA

Last saturday I had a few photo shoots in Orange County so we made plans to spend the day out in beautiful Laguna for the evening. Sadly the weather was gloomy, but still beautiful. Laguna is hands down one of my favorite beaches. It's always gorgeous and hardly ever crowded. We met up with our good friends The Glenn's, went to dinner and enjoyed some halloween cupcakes.

 It was a great weekend!

This surfer dude stood out there for hours. We couldn't figure out what he was doing? Looks like he is surfing, but surfing he is not. He's standing on a shallow rock.

1 week away till Halloween

Guess who is oh so curious this Halloween!? Aila is Alice In Wonderland this year! We call her Aila In Wonderland -hehe. Thanks to my sister Winter, who found the costume at a vintage store and has been using it for her Alice In Wonderland Photo shoots a few weeks ago. So stinking cute! Kudos to the one who made it! Love it! Aila was such a trooper last week when I needed samples of my Yellow love chair for photos. She found herself quite comfortable ;) We can't wait to take her Trick or Treating for her first time this Halloween!

Holiday Photo Sessions

This year I am offering a few fun and cute Holiday sessions for my clients! From my previous post I made a beautiful handmade Festive Teepee and a few years back I bought a vintage yellow leather couch and matching love chair, so I am offering the yellow love chair as well. Teepee anyone?

So I thought I'd get a little creative and fun for my Holiday shoots this year. I decided to make a festive Teepee! Oh ya! Awesome possum! Todd helped me frame it, and then decorated the heck out of it with holiday fabric. I did some research on how to make it and of course ended up doing my own thing as I went. It turned out pretty stinking cute if I do say so myself! ;)

Let the October fests begin

This past Friday night we met up with Todd's parents and my parents for dinner and some pumpkin patch fun. Aila had a blast. She was so funny to watch on the pump it up jumpers and bright orange pumpkins all around. You can't help but always wonder what their thinking of all this exciting stuff going on. Their little minds so happy and adventurous! By the time it was time to leave Aila picked out her very first pumpkin, though I'm sure she has no idea what it is other than a miss shaped ball. Ha ha. She is going to be Alice in Wonderland for Halloween. We can't wait to take her trick or treating and to our church trunk or treat! I love the holidays!
